Hi Folks,

I will putting our '06 S into the shop for what I expect to be a crank sensor O-ring replacement. Should that be the case, are there other recommended items I should ask the shop to check or replace while having the front off?

Car has 45,000 miles on it and has had no major repairs or services, only maintenance such as fluid flushes, etc.

I just replaced the crank sensor o-ring. I can not think of anything else in the front to replace. They should check the hoses but I would not expect any issues.

When I did the crank o-ring I also replaced the crank damper but I have 75,000 miles.
There are other normal things to check at 45,000 miles such as lower front control arm bushings, belt tensioner, and belt.
Also check the engine mount for leaks.
