Vacuum pump seizure/cylinder head removal
Vacuum pump seizure/cylinder head removal
Hi, new to the site. Trying to get the procedure for removing the head on my 2009 Mini R56. What has happen is the Vacuum pump seized, sheared off the exhaust camshaft sprocket bolt and bent the exhaust valves. To try to save some money on the repair i prefer not to purchase a manual or the camshaft timing tools if I do not have to. If someone has done this already and can share the procedure I would appreciate it. I'm located in Miami, FL and if I could barrow or rent the camshaft timing tools, PM me. Thanks
