This morning outside temp reading was blinking and a alarm was beeping anyone else have this? I noticed the temp dropped about two degrees and the light started to blink.
I noticed this too on mine when the temperature reaches about 37 degrees. This is a safety feature allerting you that there may be ice on the roads because of the low temperature.
Yep, I noticed this this morning for the first time too. There's another thread about this today (I guess the first frost for a lot of the US was last night). It's an ice indicator. Chime dings and temp flashes.
I feel sorry for you guys! 37 deg is too cold for October. I'm glad I moved south to NC. It was 55 deg this morning and I was ready to get out my gloves!
Yeah, it's a safety feature. My old 325iX did it too.
In the SF bay area, I wore shorts while playing a round of 18 yesterday! Then I went over to my buddies house, bbq'd and watched the Giants and the Niners win!
Very cool feature, although I'll never need it. It was a freezing 64 degrees when I drove to work this morning! Forget the car, I would freeze if it was 37! If you guys ever need to defrost, just motor on out west until you hit the BIG puddle (the Pacific), you can't miss it!
If the blinking is truly saftey a feature...I'm truly impressed.
It was cold on Long Island this morn'n as well...
Not quite beeping weather ...yet
I was wondering if it did something below freezing... cool...
(and weirdly enough, in the arctic tundra that is the Buffalo / Niagara Falls region, i have yet to drop below freezing... (at least when i'm in the car that is...))
