Would like some guidance.

5 time MINI owner. Now have 2012 JCW with Harmon-Kardon upgrade. I have had the car back in the shop two times (3 days each) because of significant door rattles, vibrations, etc. Also, I feel the stereo sound is distorted when played only relatively loud. The techs have sprayed foam in e door rings, messed with speaker covers, padded in other places to no avail.

I am feeling right now that the problem is unsolvable and a manufacturing defect.

Does anyone have similar experience? Has the quality diminished that much?

Very disappointed and at wits end.

On mine I've found that the lock pin rattles when it's up, but if I lock the door it goes away. Quirky little bugger.
