Just trying to find out if this is normal, or if I have to start diagnosing. I'll open the doors, and the floor lights will come on, but the dome/map light wont come on unless you press the buttons. It's really annoying if you have to grab something in the back, and I've now been banned on doing any work at night on it so say the wife cause I left them on last night lol.

 

I believe you have to press & hold the dome button to switch between auto & manual operation.
