Stupid question time...

Yeah, I know it's probably posted somewhere, but Hubby wants to know where the diagnostic port is on the R56, so he can read codes.

Under the dash, left of the steering rack; real easy to spot.
You'll find that the trapezoid serial port may have a molded protective cover over it.

The port is located in pretty much the same spot on all makes and models of cars with OBDII (1996+).
It must be within 3 feet of the driver and accessible without tools. Usually it is near the drivers left knee.
