Help with CEL Code

I have an "08 Clubman S with 40k miles. The check engine light came on. I hooked up an OBD ii scanner and it read code P0599 and pointed to the Thermostat control. I searched on line for code P0599 but no results. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is this a thermostat replacement?
