So I have an 03 mini cooper and only the passenger side vents are blowing somewhat cold air, while the driver side is blowing warm/hot air. When i close the driver side vents the air coming out of the passenger side gets slightly warmer, anyone ever heard of this or have a solution?

 

In regards to what you describe above, are you trying to blow cold or warm air? What are the settings on your climate control panel?

 

Sorry cold air, the AC button is on and I've tried with and without recirculating air on

 

Sounds kinda like the ac is dead....and the coolness is just from the air blowing...
to be 100% sure, use a thermometer to check for temp drop/rise from both sides.

I guess a blending duct/flapper could be stuck...but the temp change will tell you...
Auto or manual climate control?
Check the psi's in the ac system yet?

 

sort of the same happened to me, vent near the speedometer on the drivers side blows slightly less cooler air than others but if the temp is set at 68 or below you cant notice a diff only when i put it at 70 or above, weird! guess i found out which vent to put a gauge in
