Removing Harmonic Balancer
Removing Harmonic Balancer
Can anyone recommend a tool for the job, or should I just break down and get the "proper" tool the dealerships use?
Also, on a side note, I went to go replace my timing chain cover gasket. Since I couldn't get the crank pulley off, I removed this instead. I figured "hey, while I'm under here might as well."
The sucker was leaking oil, so at least the day wasn't a total waste.

Looks like a late blower so you'll need 3 M6 bolts at least 65mm long and use with generic crowsfoot puller. Get a M12 X 1.75 X 40mm long and hack off the head to use as a thread protecter(central puller bolt can thread against this). Make sure everything is square and pull away....
