When the repair becomes worse than the problem...
Vista Motors Mini repaired the "cold start noise" problem - they said it was a bad timing belt tensioner - under warranty. Now it rapidly leaks coolant from an area that can't be seen without a talking snake. (Speaking English.) Somewhere in the vicinity of the center of the right end of the engine. It's a 2007 Cooper S and I want to know if anybody knows what seals or gaskets they may have had to disturb to cause it before I have to tear it all apart and fix it right. Now that it's out of warranty, I'll do it myself.
My other car is a truck. Also, got any pics of that engine exposed to the light of day?

Here's a picture of the engine. The water pump is on that end. Might be leaking from there.
There's a thread on MA about a leak from the thermostat housing/water sensor area also. I don't know why, but NAM is blocking the included link to the Motoring Alliance's thread. Search for a thread titled "2007 S coolant Leak" over there.
