so yesterday on the way back from the bike shop, in 2nd gear at around 5-6K rpms something let go....

i heard a noise that sounded like i was squirting gravel. then it stopped and did not do it again, even with a couple more another high rev gear changes. I looked under and around the car but did not see anything odd, so i blew it off as a plastic bag or something that blew off.

i guess i was wrong........

any thoughts?
