I found others which claim that they do reset the airbag light. One is the icarsoft I910, available for prices from to at sites I found.

I confirm that carly resets the light, I ve done it many times to mine (had to remove seat to retrofit combox...).

Might be cheaper to go some independent garage. We have a nice SnapOn scanner at work that clears everything.

very frustrating! I will keep looking for a step by step post on using the Schwaben tool.
