Navigation rubber button - sticky or melting

Hey guys I recently purchased 03 model with navigation.
As it's been getting really hot I've noticed something funny.
When I pushed on this button it left a sticky residue on my finger and my finger print was printed on the button. It looks like the rubber button on navi is melting from this weather.

Anybody else experienced this?
I wonder if I can just pull off this rubber cover and replace it without having to take navi cover off or anything.
Thanks guys.
