Front bumper light question

One of my lights is out in my front bumper. It's the passenger side round light that houses the turn signal also. The small white light on the outside of the light is out. I pulled the plug, but cannot get the bulb out? Anyone have an idea on how to get it out? Does the bumper have to come off? My car is a 2004 if that matters.

Thanks,
James

Just twist to release the bulb holder from the light housing. If it was never removed before, it can be stuck very tight and difficult to twist (might even need pliers to get enough grip). You can make more room for your hand and a better grip if you undo the turn signal bulb holder first (also twist). The bulb size is 194.

No need to remove the bumper. Just open the hood and reach down.

Thanks. I'll try pulling the turn signal bulb first and see if that helps. I'll try some pliers after that.

I did get it out by removing the turn signal bulb, then using a pair of pliers to get it turned enough to where I could finish pulling it out by hand. The funny thing is when I pulled it out and looked at it, it looked fine. I plugged it back in and it works fine now. I bought a pack of spares just in case.

Thanks,
James
