Anyone have this happen?

Started car this morning (it was very cold here around 1 degree), no problem. Let it warm up for about 10 minutes. Went over to health club (about a ten minute drive) worked out for an hour. Tried to start car but no luck. Car never seem to get to the cranking phase. Plenty of electrical juice (lights, window, radio, instrumentation, fan etc..all had lots of power)...

Mini Roadside Assistance had a tow within 45 minutes of my call. Local tow guy tried a few things but no luck....car is on the way to the dealer (on flat bed..first he tried to tow it with the old fashion regular tow and was coming real close to damaging car and pissing me off, he wanted me to go away, but I wouldn't and I called Mini Roadside Assistance again and complained about no flat bed...I didn't leave until car was up on flat bed...not easy to do today since car was in shade and wind was blowing making it about 15 degrees below zero)

Car is brand new, only 800 miles, 1 month old
