Stuck bolt help

Replacing my LDP to clear a fault code. Trying to remove the old one, but one of the two bolts holding the canister won't come loose. The nut is supposed to be held in place by a plastic bracket. But, for some reason, the nut isn't being held firmly and is turning along with the bolt.

Anyone familiar with this assembly have any suggestions?

I had a similar issue with the radiator or AC condensor. It was an optional thing, but I just left it since I wasn't in the mood. I decided next time I would use epoxy on the plastic nut (Create a wedge between the side and the basic nut shape of the thing. After hardening, this should prevent spinning.

Maybe something like that works for you too?

Thanks for the reply. There is so little room between the canister and the gas tank I don't think I can get anything in there at all, let alone accurately enough to accomplish anything.

It looks like I'm stuck until I get a new canister housing. Then I'll cut it out and replace the whole LDP/canister assembly.
