My 2011 JCW does it too... usually after a spirited ride where the turbo heated up a bit..

But he waits until I walk away...doesn't want me to see him cry..I guess he misses me...

I have a 2008 MC and just noticed tonight that I had had Weepy Washer Jets, it was dried on??!! I took some Speed Shine and a MF Towel and wiped it up. I use 303 Instant Windshield Washer Tablets so it didn't stain, but I was surprised to find it. Think I might have to talk to my SA about this!!

Anyone PLEASE post a part number to the valves that were used for this fix? I am stationed in Germany. I have taken my Mini into the shop 3 times for this issue. The problem apparently is that Mini here in Europe supposedly have had no complaints on this issue and have no idea what part # it is. They ordered check valves yesterday from a 3 series but could not make them fit.

Apparently these check valves you all had installed are not an actual listed Mini part so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't remember part number right away but it is the same check velve they use for rear windshield wiper, it is ONE WAY valve, and u just need two of them. That's it.

Halleluah!!! and that is the actual mini part # from the dealer? I really appreciate your response. This will save me from snapping tomorrow when they still tell me there is no fix...

Weeping Nozzles - TECHNICAL BULLETIN

Just came from Nashville Mini.

Not only have they heard of this issue, and have actually installed the two check valves that mitigate / eliminate weeping, they actually had and showed me the technical bulletin describing the issue and the fix.

If any other dealers give you the run-around, or are not aware of this, have them call their counterparts (pardon the pun) in Nashville.

It is also a warranty issue, so they will fix it for me at no cost. They did not have any of the valves in stock, so they had to order them. Will let you know how it went after installation, though I don't suspect any further issues.

(Kudos and shout-out to Nashville Mini)

I've got some other issues that I want looked at on Molly, her 4yr. Warranty will run out in April and she usually sees the Dealer every 6mo. anyway but I didn't want to wait 'til October, so we'll take her in sometime next week.

Not to revive this thread but any chance you have a SIM on your invoice zeiker? Or anyone for that matter? I have the same issue and need some direction/persuasion for the dealer to fix it.

any update on that TSB number by chance? my 2010 has done this since new (when the engine warms up they cry and cry... so annoying). I'm going back on Friday to have the dealer try again - last time they just replaced the nozzles and that didnt do anything to fix. Please advise.
Thanks

not sure if this help.

i had leaking washer fluid from the rear wiper. it would leak when parked in the sun/hot temperature. fixed it with the advice of some members here. there's a past post that suggest draining the dealer fluid, all of it, out. then put some distilled water in and drain that out again. refilled it with 50/50 mixture of distilled water and washer fluid. that solved my problem. no need to waste my time at dealer. good luck
