Hey all. I'm looking for some info before I call the dealership.

I have the regular manual air on my MINI. When testing out the a/c yesterday, I noticed that when I turn the dial to the left to have the air come out both at the feet and head, the air at the head is not coming out the front vents but rather at the window like the defroster would. Is this normal or should that air be coming out the front vents like it does when I turn the dial to the right to only come out at the head?
