Hello, well the saga conitnues.
We took over the lease on a 2008 Cooper S in December. Since then it has been in the shop5 times.
2x to fix the cold start issue
3x towed in due to no start.
1st time they blamed the battery in the key. 2nd time they blamed the starter and the battery (both changed) now it is back for what presents as the same problem and they say it is electrical. Each time I have said it is probably the fuel pump due to this being a common issue which presents this way. They adamantly refuse this.
Ridiculous how crappy this is. We have had a rental car more than the mini at this point. Fun and zippy be damned this thing sucks.
