I have an 03 MCS with factory Nav, which is very outdated now but I still want to use it. The problem is that when I put the CD or DVD (don't know which it is) in under the passenger seat I can hear the Nav system trying to read the disc (it kinda sounds like its skipping) and then it automatically ejects the disc. anyone else out there have this or a similar problem in their mini? any help or tips to fix this would be much appreciated. thanks in advance to anyone who cares to share!

 

The first thing to try is to clean the disc or the laser head. If those don't work, the laser may be failing. See these threads:
