Oil in Intercooler

I just decided to clean my intercooler, so i removed it and noticed a bunch of oil in the rubber boots and if i held the intercooler up right, some would come out of the intercooler itself. Is this normal for 60k miles on an 03?

Yes. Buy a Catch can and install. Clean Ic with a good cleaner and reinstal with catch can . Problem should not exist in future.
