Supercharger Service Advice
I just passed 100K miles on my '04 S and am doing some supercharger/water pump preventative maintenance.
I bought a supercharger kit on eBay which contains oil, seals and bearings. From what I've seen on YouTube, the oil and seal changes are pretty routine but the bearings seem to be another story. Is it a big deal to replace them?
Everything is running fine with no unusual noises and there is no oil residue in the intercooler.
Is it a good idea to change the bearings now or will servicing the oil and seals suffice? What is the life expectancy of the bearings?
I'm not about to shell out close to 1K for a rebuilt unit at this point.
I'm also changing the crank position sensor o-ring which quit doing its job some time ago.

I just did the oil change on the s/c at about 95k miles, did not mess with the seals, gears. I did the service because i had to be certain that i had new oil, and the correct amount in there on a 100k mi car (with no mechanical problems). Some people dont do anything with it. I have a buddy with 140k mi on his 2004 MCS, and has never touched the s/c. Do what you feel comfortable with.
