Car will crank but not start after hitting curb

2002 R50 with manual trans and 95K kms.
2 weeks ago my son slid on some ice and hit the side of a curb at 20 km/hr +/-.
Driver wheel ruined and bent control arm, sway bar link and idler arm.
Airbags did not deploy and there is no airbag light.
Howver, my son says the driver window came down a few inches and the flashers did not come on.
Car would not start and had the car towed home.
Subsequently, replaced all parts myself including all ball joints and suspension bushing (both sides) with the help of this forum.
Removing the subframe and using a small press was essential to getting this done.
Trying to get this car started and noticed that the fuel pump does not run when key turned to position 1 and 2.
Checked all fuses and relays in engine compartment and driver footwell and all is good. Even switch around relays. no difference.
I removed the cover plate over the fuel pump and tested the connector with voltmeter for voltage. 12 volts is present at two pins with key in either on or off position and I cannot find any instance of switched 12v power when the ignition is turned off and on.
Anyone have a schematic of the fuel pump 5 pin connector so I can try to jump start it direct.
After much research, I am leaning towards the cause being a fault in the MRS module that needs to be cleared or reset. Possibly, one of the crash sensors pick up the impact and registered the fault in the MRS.
I don't want to tow it to the dealer to have them try to fix it $$$$.
I thought about buying the B200 scanner since it is cheap and after reading its manual onlinem, I think it will reset the MRS but I am not sure.
Anyone know how to bypass the MRS or trick it.
Surely, someone has done this before.

Any all comments and/or expertise would be appreciated.
