First off, I want to thank the community here. I had a problem with my car and found the fix on here.

Problem: Random start, stall, restart and limp mode. Codes read:

P1125, P1229, P2404.

These codes can cause limp mode. They are intermittent connection or lost connection codes.

What I found was a connection problem at the throttle plate. Many people had said that the throttle plate motor had failed and would need to be replaced but found that a few had actually cleaned the connection and it fixed the problem. I too cleaned the connections and it fixed the problem.

The moral of this lesson? Clean everything before replacing. When working with electronics, even the smallest amount of dirt can cause big problems. Check your connections before replacing the big parts
