Clock display goes dark or flickers
My S is doing this. I think it might be related to it being cold. You notice these things when you are siting in your Mini waiting for it to warm up so you can put it in gear. :???:
I have had this happen to my car as well.
The clock in my '04MCS has been flickering or not operating at all when cold. The clok works normally when the interior of the car warms up. I am hoping it isn't an electrical gremlin. Has anyone else experienced this and hae you since resolved it?

I had this happen to me once in extreme cold. If i revved the engine a little, it would work fine. I also notices that everything else seemed to be lacking a little power at idle. (fan speed slowed a little, lights dim slightly). I'm sure it was due to extreme cold, and the alternator not putting out as much juice as normal, but it hasn't been a problem since.
