Multiple warning lights many problems

Hi All,

I started my 07 MCS today and had some problems.

-Xenon's will not level and go up and down several times and turn on and off
-Blinkers do not work
-Yellow brake warning light on dash
-Yellow warning triangle on dash with picture of head light
-Red warning square with mini on a lift picture.
-Head lights would not turn off and I had to disconnect the battery to get them off.

The car seems to run fine other then the constant warning light show going on.

Any idea what it might be and is it safe to drive to my dealer 2 hours away with out something electrical catching on fire?!?

I made an appointment with the dealer and will drop it off tomorrow. It is still under warranty so i am not too concerned about it getting fixed, just curious as to what it might be.

i'd ask the dealer, if they think you should drive it like that, or get MINI roadside to tow ya. brake light is big one that'd bother me. But if they seem to work, have someone help you test tail/brake lights, and be careful i suppose.

Bad fuse possible.

Probably related to the headlight problem above.

Could mean many things see the manual for description of all the items that cause this. COudl be as simple as a missed inspection.

Probably related to the issue above with the headlights.

Or all of this could be related to the Foot Well Module. Either a loose connector there or the module is bad. The foot well module controls all the lighting circuits.

UPDate -- Issue resolved

I Had my car into the dealership and they found my sunroof drain was plugged. With all the recent rain there was some water dripping inside the car onto a control module in the passenger side foot well. They fixed the drain took everything apart and dried it out. All has been well since.

I'll bet you're "happy" now.

(please pardon the shameless pun)
