Something new just started on 'Merlin".
The driver's door lock is not releaseing all the way when using the key.
Door unlatches from inside fine.
Have just installed new battery.
Sprayed white lithium grease on latch assy. but no help.
Any ideas?

If you do a search you'll find many threads on this topic. My passenger side is doing the same thing. Your door lock actuator is probably dying or is dead and needs to be replaced. Try doing a search for door actuator problems.
