Left signal, High beam problem

Hello. For about a year now, I have had a problem that is getting worse. I have a MCS 2004. When I signal left it usually turns on my high beams. If I wiggle the signal arm some, I can usually get the high beams to go out. Usually by putting the arm forward slightly. I think it is a signal arm of sorts going out. Anyone heard of this problem or knows how to fix it? I am not wanting to throw in the towel yet. I think I will have to replace it. Hope to hear some help. Thanks in advance. Dale
