I replaced the stock mini power steering fan with a SPAL replacement about a year ago.

recently, I ordered and installed the MOSS mini fan duct, which is great.

problem: my SPAL fan doesn't have the clips in the two slots that allows the MOSS duct to screw to it. (using zip ties right now)

I wanted to see if anyone had a set of spare clips off of an old power steering fan that they don't need and wouldn't mind selling or shipping to me.

I cringe to think what the dealer would charge....

My dealer (in Indianapolis) charged me $1.32 x 2 clips and had them in stock.

 

do you happen to know the actual names and/or part numbers so I can help the dealer find them when i call?

 

I don't know what they look like, but if they are what I think they are (metal "U" shaped things with threads) they are common body nuts or something like that. A big hardware store may have them in the wall of screws (Not a homedepot) near the fender washers.

my dealer has them for $1.35 ea

 

RealOem has the part number as 07146981767 (I am not sure what the 0714 prefix means) and they are called C-Clip Nuts. They are in the Vehicle Trim group.
