I have an odd problem with my 04 MCS. Like clock work since I got the car in 08, as soon as the heat comes in may or april, my passenger side window will not go down.

Once the humidity is gone, usually in september I am able to get the window to work agian.

I can hear some clicking when it doesnt work. Is there some sort of relay that can be replaced, or is it just the motor? Of coarse now the window is working. I am guessing if there is no relay, its going to mean a new motor.

ANy thoughts?

 

One suggestion....
Before you toss a motor at it...
Wait till it stops working... Then take a volt-meter, and see if the motor is getting any power...if it is not, then look further upstream...heck it could even be dirty contacts/corrosion on the switch...or even a bad ground...
