After I shut off my 2005 s I get a noise like a hiss around the power steering fluid resivour it just keeps making that noise. No problems at all with steering or cooling of the motor fluid may be a bit low. Anybody ?

When I shut off both my minis I hear a pump spooling down. Either both are bad, or it is normal. I don't really care to know....I think it's the PS pump.

At your first post, I would have suggested you might have a vacuum leak whereby the pressure is bleeding off after you turn off your MINI. With the second post about the dead battery, it sounds more like you have the issue with the pump continues to run. If memory serves, this means it's on its way out. It's a bit long, but read through this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...+steering+pump.
