Windsheild washer has stopped spraying.

Hello everyone,
Just the other day i went to wash my windshwild down, and there was no spray.

I can hear the pump run, but nothing comes out. The same goes for my rear system.

Has anyone has any experience with this issue and where I would start in identifying the issue?

The front and the rear use different tanks, different pumps, and different hoses.....
The fact you are saying they both stopped working at the same time is odd....
Make sure both tanks are full....The tanks are pretty small, and drowning on the year, will not have a warning light if low.
Then some folks find the nozzles get plugged....
So you can use a pin to clear them out...if this is the case, it helps with the windshield if you unplug the nozzle and push the gunk out the back side....then reassemble...
Do you have headlight washers? Do those still work?

assuming you have juice in the tank and checked that isn't just clogged nozzles I've heard of the hose getting dislodged from the tank/pump. You know where the filler is right? I believe the tank can be accessed by removing the wheel well liner on that side....

According the the Haynes manual description of the system and the wiring diagrams there are two relays but they connect to one pump on one tank. I no longer have a GEN1 to verify however. (Haynes chapter 12)

Ok, solved one issue but created another. The rear nozzle was clogged and the water line to the driver headlight was not clamped down.

Everything sprays now. However, the windshield wipers no longer move. I have checked the fuses. WTF happened?

Just attempted the ground fix, and nothing. I can hear the relay throw, but nothing. I'm going to go get some larger wire and two eyelet terminals, and try again.

Thankfully, I have a warranty on the car. Unfortunately, the local dealership usually is booked up for two weeks, its over an hour away, there is a $100 deductible, and it is Louisiana in the fall (it rains several times a week.)

Grrrr.

Well, a rebuilt motor is going to run my $90 with shipping. I'm just going to take it to the dealership and let them take care of it. I think $10 for my time is worth it. Lol. Thank's for yall's help in getting my nozzles spraying though!

I have two tanks, one on each side. The driver side tank supplies the front and rear wind sheild nozzles, while the passenger supplies the headlight washers.

However, the windshield wipers no longer move

Had a similar problem a few years ago - after playing around under the bonnet the wipers went flaky ran real slow for a sweep then stopped. Could hear the relay but no go. Got all panicky and was checking all kinds of wiring options and pricing motors.

Finally looked under the bonnet at the linkage and found a wayward screw driver that had managed to get physically wedged in the system. Removed screw driver and everything worked fine.

Airplane mechanics in the service must account for every tool and every rag b4 closing up the airplane and signing off on the job - almost like a surgeon.

Start simple .... look for a physical blockage.

On my 05' S one tank is the Xenon's+front windshield, the other is the back.
I'm pretty sure....

Thanks Tom. I was able to get everything spraying after a few minutes this morning. Fixed one things and broke another. It looks like the motor on the front wipers burned up.
