Weird KLUNK sound

Ive got a 03 s and im getting this hard klunk sound when i accelerate quickly after a down shift from the right side of the car. Also same sound being heard when i go slow over any kind of bump ,,,driveway curb , uneven areas on road. Im thinking it might be my strut but have no idea.....You can feel it thru the floor while driving...But no klunking when going at any speed over 15mph

CV Joint/Axle? How many miles?
Ball joints typically make a click, so not that I'm guessing. Anything stuck in that general area?

Really dosent sound like a cv ,My dad had one go out on his car it made an unforgetable sound. 116k on the odometer . its only when there is torque on the wheel taking off fast from standstill or when wheel goes up and down on speed bumps or uneven areas . I am leaning more to the strut but i cant find anything loose on it. Im not sure what a busted strut sounds like

It's probably the control arm bushing. These things fail very often in BMW's and on Minis, we have front wheel drive to make things worse.
Unfortunately a visual inspection will not reveal much.
Try giving your front right wheel a kick, front to back. When the bushing is gone, you'll notice it will move back like a half inch.
Also, have someone drive it and look at the wheel closely when the brakes are applied. If it's the bushing, it will shift back as well.
Hope this helps.

If they are shot...

don't replace them with the stock unit. It sucks as a part. Get some poly units from Way or another vendor and get improved emergency braking stability, and never have to deal with them again.

Just a thought... the clunking could be due to worn out engine mounts.
