Recently within the last 3 weeks, I've filled up twice and my gas gauge won't show it as being full. Has anyone has this issue? I always fill the tank up completely, and at first the gauge will show as being full. After turning it off and starting it up again, the gauge will show half full. I've been going off mileage these past weeks so I know when to actually fill my tank. I haven't had time to set up an appt to bring it in, but if any of you have had this issue, please tell me if there is something I can do to fix it.

 

Sounds like the sender in the gas tank is having issues. Maybe the Germans thought of a better way, but most cars use a toilet bowl float type mechanism.
