Loud noise

Hey all, I was wanting your opinion on my car (07 MCS, 63k miles) Ck engine light came on the other day but went off soon after. Has been making an abnormally loud noise under passenger side engine compartment. Only does it while in gear, when it is placed in Neutral, the noise ceases... Not under warranty so wanted to avoid paying the "fee" for looking at it... Also doesn't accelerate the way it should when I step on it, actually doesn't move at all sometimes when gas pedal is floored... Had turbo replaced about 10k miles ago and ever since then doesn't seem to run the way it once did. Any ideas at all? Can't be a muffler leak, I wouldn't think because that wouldn't cause ck engine light to come on... I didn't know if you guys still get together and help each other out on engine problems... Thanks for any help

You may have a turbo downpipe leaking, or perhaps one of the intercooler hoses came loose. Best bet is to take it in to your dealership and have them diagnose the problem. So long as there is a record of having the turbo replaced, they should be able to go back to that for reference. There is a chance the issue can be covered.

P.S. This thread should be moved to the 2nd gen section.
