I just pulled this 2F37 fault code off of my car's ECU using the Bavarian Technic software tool. It is an error code related to the engine. The software is telling me this error will not cause a warning light. Does anyone know what it means?

 

Nothing I recognize. Strange 2nd prefix.....

Maybe a BMW dedicated number...( dealer may have to decipher )

 

It turns out this is a weird code. I contacted both the dealer and Bavarian Technic and neither of them has a clue about what the code means!

 

It could be associated with a burned bulb dashboard light. I have the same error when the dash light for a burned bulb shows.
