traction, ABS, and tire lights on at the same time

hi, i have a 05 MCS, 6-speed with 50K on it. this problem started a few months back and has become more regular lately. when i hit a big bump in the road, or sometimes just when reversing from my driveway, the yellow warning lights for traction, ABS, and tire pressure all come on at the same time. if i restart the car, they all go off. it seems to occur more frequently when it rains. any idea how to troubleshoot this? i'm guessing a bad wire on a wheel sensor but i haven't checked them out yet.

the car is lowered with bigger sway bars and adjustable end links. could this have any impact?

thanks, ryan

I had this problem. It's the sensor and I don't recall it being too expensive to replace, maybe $150 at my Mini shop here in Tulsa.

I had a front ABS Pulse Generator go, and when wet triggered the "trifecta" of lights on my dash....

FYI: When the lights are on, those MINI components are also deactivated.....

part no. 34526756384 - $130.00.

Item 2 below.

About an hr labor by some mechanic shops, more probably at dealer.

System would reset after shut down and restart, then lights would come back about 100' down the road.

If you have an Auto Zone or Advanced Auto nearby, you may be able to pull the code if they can loan you the reader...

i had this, and it ended up just being the car off of alignment kind of. took it to a mini shop here and he plugged it into the comp, adjusted the alignment of the steering wheel, and it was good to go. i though it was a speed sensor, but to my luck it wasnt.

i pulled the sensors on the drivers side today as i suspected it would be a sensor on that side based on the bumps that trigger the lights to come on. the rear sensor looked relatively new. the front one was all crusty. i cleaned them both and now all three yellow lights are on all the time. i think the right front sensor is bad. is it the same part# for all 4 wheels?

@ryan319 - where did you find it for that price? not doubting you, but are you sure it is the correct item? usually they run about $100. (but i am always interested in a cheaper version if available )

i found the aftermarket one on ebay but it was referenced to the OEM part number so i figured that it was the correct one. i found the OEM one another site, can't remember the name but it was easy to find by putting the part number in a google search.

i went with the aftermarket one from ebay as it was only $32. it arrived 2 days after i bought it fixed the warning light problem. no complaints with it at all.
