I filled the gas tank on my 06 MCS yesterday, and before the end of the day the "Service Engine" light came on. I attributed this to the fact that I may not have secured the gas cap on. How long does it take for the warning light to clear once I adjust the gas cap? I want to make sure that was the cause before I take it to the dealership. The light was still on this morning.
