Keychain Remote

I have an 06 convertible S, the key remote can be used to put teh top all the way down from a distance... cool... except for the distance.
Is there a way to boost the range that the key remote can work? Right now I can't even unlock the doors until I'm about 20 feet away.

The key to my old '02 MCS would work out to about 50', but it did not have the roll-window feature. With my '06 MCS keys, I have the same range issue. However... hold the key against your teeth when you press your button. The human body becomes an antenna! And I just learned this one last week.

Holding the key against your chin has the same effect. And look only half as freaky.

Holding it against the joints in the wrist works in the same way. But, if your looking to install a range extender (of sorts) follow the link below to see how -=gRay rAvEn=- fixed the issue.

That's a good one, Paul.

Not4no1, thanks for the link.
