clock keeps going bye-bye
clock keeps going bye-bye
So, this is like the 4th time in two weeks that the clock in the speedo has gone to 4 dashes with the blinking colon in the middle --:-- instead of the time 12:08 fer instance.
Is there any fix for this other than resetting it every few days? Is this a ya gotta pop for a new speedo and/or installation at the dealer situation? My car is out of warranty and I'd rather just wear my watch than pay for a replacement.

Do you have anything plugged into the OBD-II port?
and you should check a few fuses (don't remember which ones). Long ago I had something like this from plugging some bad wiring into the OBD-II port and blowing a fuse...

I have an Ian anti-nanny circuit (enables auto-up windows and keeps the DSC off at start-up) plugged in, but its been there for months with no problems. Is that the OBD-II port? I'll check the fuses. Thank you.
