Rattles from Panaromic Roof

When riding on rough or bumpy roads in my 07MCS, my front sun/moon roof rattles. Anyone else experience this, and do you have any suggestions how to remedy this. Thanks

Mine right now is making more racket than I can stand in the car...it is 5 degrees out and I have to keep it in the vented position so I can hear the radio!

This is a main reason why i did not get one in my car. My previous vehicle had one and always made noise. It drove me nuts.

Mine used to get stuck in the sun. They adjusted but then it had a rattle when open. So they re-adjusted last week and now roof is nice and quiet.

My 04 has had the whole glass replaced and it back making noise. What areas to the dealers adjust or tighten to stop this?

I guess leaving it open is an option to abate some of the noise, but we've had temps. in the single digits here in Southern New England, and then there's snow heading our way in the next day or two. MINI's have some neat features, but I just can't get the automatic snow ball feature to work.

bring it in enough for the adjustment and they change out the gasket that holds the glass in. Helps alot. I get the occasional noise but it has to be something like railroad tracks to set it off.

I talked to the tech and the MINI playbook is to adjust/adjust/adjust/replace

I looked at the gasket on my wife's new 10' and it is much more padded

I wonder if the replacements, have the added padding. Either way I'll schedule an appointment with the dealer. You folks are great!

I've had mine adjusted 5 times so far. It seems to be OK finally, though the test will be to see if it opens when hot which is what I took it in for the first time and all the other problems sprung from.

I noticed if I push the headliner adjacent to the sunroof's frame the rattles stop, but I can't seem to get my dealer to do anything about it but deny it's existence.

My dealer does the same. I've noticed I HAVE to take them on test drives and explicitly point out problems to get them to do anything.

same thing here, a buzz eminates from above the passenger sun visor and it drives me crazy. I can apply a little pressure to the point and it stops. Im currently in the process of tracking down all of the noises (there are alot) and more just keep poping up!
