Don't do this!

From the driver seat I reached over in an atempt to close the club door. I grabbed the seat belt and pulled it out as far as it would go to pull the door closed. It looped around the park brake handle and when I let go- see picture.
The only way to free it is with a torque drive wrench and remove the seat belt anchor. Or use a knife to cut the seat belt. Worse part of it was that it held the parking brake on!

That must have really sucked.

I always do this but give the belt a "Quick" tug to get it to lock up and then then door shuts without problem and the belt has not pulled far enough to catch anything.

If you decide to test the windows to see if the emergency stopper works, I wouldn't recommend using your head

It would not have crossed my mind to do this, but now that I see what can happen, I won't.

I've heard that it's a lot of fun to put your tongue on a frozen flagpole...

Never thought that I could reach the clubdoor from the driver's seat... nice.

Dumb question, but why would you need to close the club door from the driver's side?

It was 10F and windy and both doors were open. My daughter refused to reach over and close the doors, she was in the back seat behind me. We were waiting for 2 more passengers and it WAS COLD, so closing the door would cut some of the cold air.
