Hello guys.
I bought my R53 (2006 Cooper S) with deployed DRIVER side AirBag.
I replaced the Airbag and bought TWO airbag Sensors. (1 for Pass side, 1 for Driver's).

Does anyone know where the airbag sensors are located on the Cooper?
I need to replace the sensors to shut off the AirBag Light.

Or do I need to replace more stuff than the AirBag sensors? Does anyone know?
All help and suggestions will be appreciated.

You will have to remove the main sensor, which is located under the carpet and padding on the "tunnel" between the shifter and the handbrake. There are a number of companies that will reset it for you- I think mine was $ 50. I'll warn you that reaching it requires a pretty extensive process- if you do it by the book, plan on removing seats, center console/shifter, handbrake console, then lifting up carpet and foam. I cheated and left all that stuff in place, cut the carpet and foam, unbolted the module, then glued everything back together when done.
