Reed Valve Error P1477 (replaced pump already!)

I'm getting the 1477 Reed Valve error (switch not opening) and replaced the pump but the it is still not opening and still throwing the code
. Dealer thinks there is probably a frayed wire or a ground fault happening somewhere down the line but its tough to track down.
Anyone had this problem before? Is there a common problem area to start looking?

Had this and had a lucky and easy fix. Something to look at:
