8k on front stock run flats and almost bald!?!?
Still going!
I've got 34,343 miles as of today and still on my original ContinentalContiproContact 205/45-17 tires. Yes, they are worn down, but they all have even wear, still ride quietly, and aren't quite down to the "wear bars". I just may have to get these tires again, even though they are run-flats.
I would recommend a tread depth gauge to anyone who wants to check on tire wear and possible tire issues. It's a little tool you can pick up in any automotive store for under $5, and it will provide exact tread depths in 32nds of an inch.
It's easy to measure across the width of the tire at each tread groove, and that's how you can discover uneven tire wear long before it would be visible without the tool. It sure beats a Lincoln-head penny for accuracy!

New to the forums here:
I replaced the stock Dunlop RF's at about 25,000 miles. The front two were toast and the rear were re-sellable. I opted to go for conventional non-Rf's since it's my wife's daily driver. So I slapped some Falken Ziex 512's on it and she was super happy with the improved ride quality.
Since it's not my DD i forgot to rotate them - after 10K with no rotation i'm down to 3/32" on both front tires. After 10K MILES!
Something's gotta be wrong with the alignment here right? This is about to become my DD, so I want to figure this out. I maintained proper TP religiously and she's not that aggressive of a driver. They wore pretty evenly too - any thoughts?

That wear is pretty odd. I drive fairly aggressively (no track days) and I have 15k miles on my Star Specs, which aren't well known for their tread life. I just did my second rotation on them, having done my first at around 8k miles... They're looking like they're down to about half tread.
I'm all the way up to 40,000 miles on the original RF Dunlops and still have plenty of tread left on all four. First rotation was at 10,000 and been measuring tread depth regularly since then. Haven't needed another rotation. I think a smooth driving technique is more important than how aggresively you drive; I've seen plenty of fast F1 drivers that were easier on their tires than slower drivers.
