Well the 2010 Mini has had no recalls so I guess if your going to have a recall than having a recall for a sticker is the way to go.

Yeah and only 205 affected. Must have been a slow news day or another case of scare tactics.

My friend picked up her 2010 Clubman S a little over a month ago. The car came with 17" Dunlop runflats. Her door jamb sticker says to fill it up to 38 PSI. Is that the correct PSI?

Yes

My 2009 JCW with Dunlop runflats use 38psi. Your doorjam sticker is correct.

Ronnie

Thank you for your help. We were afraid about over inflating her tires.

And this is why we have MINI's. Because MINI doesn't wait until someone dies and the government forces them to issue a recall. *Cough* Ford! *Cough* Yay, MINI!!!!

I'm having the air taken out of my tires so I can check it to be sure that it is properly pressurized.

Is it safe to reuse air that has already been pressurized once?

If you just let the air out from the valve then the recimation process gets very expensive and thus really cost prohibitive.

BUT if you have and use the correct equipment then Yes it can be reused.

Bad move

I would not use the old air. New air will not cost any more then the old air. At least you will know that you have the "NEW IMPROVED AIR" and not old worn out air.

I was going to ask if there was a difference between front air and rear air but I've already shown myself to be a bit of an idiot so instead I'll just wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year.

May all of our recalls involve stickers.

Thank heavens this was corrected before my car was delivered! I might not have realized what size wheels I had!

I got the right tires (properly inflated) on my new MCS, but there were no wheels. I noticed the strange noise and peculiar steering right away... Dealer made it right, no questions asked.
