Big, cold snow storm

So, after a cold snowstorm last night my mini wont start. All the electronics turn on when I turn the key a bit, but when I try to start it, all I hear is *click click click click* until I let go. A friend of mine said to check the starter and try to knock it loose if it got frozen. Does this sound reasonable? If so where can I find said starter? Thanks!

Yeah, it sounds like a weak battery.

if you jump start it, let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes connected before you try to start it.
