was it at the connector right behind the taillight? or further into the harness

i dont believe any fuses directly control backlighting.
its all in the speedo.
ive had similarbissues and swapping speedos didnt help

I having this issue as well , water got in from the top and did all kinds of stuff ,cleaned everything and still doesn't work, checked all fuses and wiring, only way to turn off the rear lights unless I keep turning key half way to on position and back off after do many tries it goes off, no dash lights all all but do have brake lights and parking lights while driving, please help!
