Richmond VA - Crown Mini - Cold Start Rattle

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Crown Mini's handling of the cold start rattle. Did they give you any problems with it...insist that they hear it before checking the chain deflection?

Have you spoken with Clay yet? He probably is familiar with it and can fix you up (I hope)

No, not yet. I have a sticking sunroof and my hood scoop is beginning to melt slightly. I thought I'd wait until it becomes seriously noticeable before taking it in. I've also had the cold start rattle once (ever since, I make sure that the engine has warmed up before shutting it off and always park on a level.

I was just wondering if I should "practice" getting the rattle (by not always letting engine warm before shutting off and by parking nose down occasionally), just to make sure I can reproduce it at the dealer, if necessary. Seems counterproductive to need to do so, however, since it can be determined one way or the other by measuring chain deflection...
