warped rear bumper

gave my car its first wash and realized the flimsy plastic below the rear bumper wasn't even.

it looks like the bottom is retained by 1 bracket on the right, and that's holding it in, while the left side bulges out a bit.

anyone have the same issue? is there a way to put a bracket on the left side evening it out?

hard to see in the pic, but it's there.

I looked at mine and also just have one bracket. I think that instead of adding another bracket on the left side, the right side needs to be adjusted to push it out more so it'll be even with the left side.

I have a similar problem on mine, the dealer looked at it and claimed it was due to impact which is BS (no damage). I haven't had time to look at it yet, so I'm curious to see what the problem really is.

^^^Wow, that's amazing. I had no idea that that could even happen. What is the temperature in Pasadena? It's been over 100 for weeks here. Do you think that it was caused by the weather?

It's been about 100 here as well... I'm thinking it could be misaligned? I haven't had the opportunity to look at the bottom of the car, so we'll see what it is.

Would another dealership look at it for you? That just looks too strange to have been caused by an accident.

Yeah I have an appointment my my dealer this Friday to get my one year service and get my sunroof looked at again, I'll get them to check it out again and maybe show them any online proof i can find. If they don't do anything or fix my sunroof properly, I'll take it to another dealer.
